what were you reflection in? I agree, it's not one of your greatest. The composition/framing isn't the best and the way the reflection's hazy ... well, it could create a really interesting effect, but it's just not really doing anything for me here. I do really love the way the reflection puts you into an interesting perspective, fading away to your feet, that's really fun. A good concept that could use a little work ... give it another go, see what else comes out! :)

I was reflecting in my moms big mirror.
It definitely is not one of my greatest shots..
I was REALLY bored and wanted to try this
lighting experiment where I take a Styrofoam
cup and place it on the camera flash from a hole
in the bottom of the cup. I aimed the light at the
Wall and partly at the mirror. Successful results
with how the tones came out.. but a VERY bad
shot to show off the experiment's result. I'll
try shooting elsewhere with the same idea! :D

styrofoam cup on the flash, where did you come up with that? sounds very strange and very interesting, I hope I get to see some great examples of this soon. :)

Haha just a technique to soften the light and aim it.
Kinda like using a snoot. I think that's what its called..

I don't know why but I just have this odd feeling about it. It definitely has no signs of my work improving.

Sure it does. Think of it this way; with every new photo you give us as watchers, you give us a new expression. In this one, you're giving us shyness and curiousity... almost like you're a turtle coming out of its shell.

I try to look at everyone's artwork in a different way than from how others do.
