THANKS FOR 50,000 VIEWS!!!!!! + update

I can't thank you all enough for 50k views on my gallery.
Seriously, I'm going to do the best I can with my work.
I have a ton of plans and a lot of ideas for winter shots..
I'm just patiently waiting for a heavy snowstorm.

I've got all the right equipment to keep me going
and I have a decent job in photography which gives me
a lot of hands on experience with hundreds of different faces in one shift.

I'll be working both this saturday and sunday at a state cheerleading competition
either shooting group or individual shots.. either or, doesn't matter, I'll be making $.

I have yet to make use of my portable battery and strobe. It's COLD out and I lack models
that would want to actually pose outside this season, so I'll be doing a lot of post processing
practice in photoshop. When spring comes, I'll be back on model mayhem to give free limited
opportunities for location shoots for models that are serious. This will help me gain more
of a hands on experience with individuals I have never met. I would also like to practice
high fashion in urban locations.. Lots of cool ideas

As for my website, I am currently building it and I bought myself a domain, I will release the website
and add a journal entry dedicated to the release when the website is 100%. Just saying, It's not going to be a simple portfolio.. It'll be a lot better! Something different. One of my best friends is a real amazing coder and will be assisting me with that part and putting in code for web2.0!!! Modern <3
I will be avoiding flash.

I'm almost done with this semester and I'll have a nice break
to play around with photos and minimal tree shot photos.
I'll be posting a good amount this month. Keep an eye out!

December 1st 2009 = World Aids Day. Wear (RED)

Started on 1st December 1988, World AIDS Day is about raising money, increasing awareness, fighting prejudice and improving education. The World AIDS Day theme for 2009 is 'Universal Access and Human Rights'. World AIDS Day is important in reminding people that HIV has not gone away, and that there are many things still to be done.
According to UNAIDS estimates, there are now 33.2 million people living with HIV, including 2.5 million children. During 2007 some 2.5 million people became newly infected with the virus. Around half of all people who become infected with HIV do so before they are 25 and are killed by AIDS before they are 35.
Around 95% of people with HIV and AIDS live in developing nations. But HIV today is a threat to men, women and children on all continents around the world

AIDS attacks the body…
Prejudice attacks the spirit…
One is caused by a virus.
One is caused by ignorance.
BOTH KILL!!

PLEASE WEAR RED ON TUESDAY 1ST DECEMBER, 2009 to show support for people who have AIDS, those who have died from it and those who are working towards a cure.

I hope everyone has an awesome thanksgiving!!
Mine is going pretty well! I can't to have some food

I'm just hanging out in my room for now, escaping from my mom's friends that came over.

I've been adding new deviations every now and then which is good so I can bring
back my activity on here. I'm also going around and browsing a bunch of deviations
and adding them to my favorites. There's a lot that I'd like to critique on!
Lots of great artists out there.

I finally have my new equipment in! So I'll be taking new shots on location.
The PLM system by alienbees is amazing.

Anyway, ONE hour till Dinner!! I want to go get cool pictures of the turkey!

Sorry for the delay on updates..

I got good news! I ordered a bunch of new equipment and it all gets here on wednesday.
What I ordered were:

Vagabond Battery from Alienbees/Paul C. Buff
Cybersync Wireless system
42" Parabolic silver umbrella w/white diffusion sheet
Battery grip
Heavy duty tripod

I'm going to be doing a lot of location shooting with some good light

I can't wait. Too bad it's almost winter. Bah.
Though that means I'll be taking more minimal pictures like last years

I'll add more deviations little by little.
I'm hoping to get a good picture on thanksgiving.
I have a really awesome idea and the lighting is going to look sweet!
